Racha the Dragoness - By Fortuna

In my "Fates of the Unicorns" story series, dragons are anthro and the large feral beasts they ride are called drakes.

But the drakes see it differently. To them, THEY are the true dragons and those funny two-legged things are just pale imitations. Or at least that's what they used to think before their minds got all scrambled and dulled.

But even though it's been countless ages since drakes ruled the skies, their distant descendants still see themselves as the superior species, and Racha here considers herself a dragoness with all the power and elegance and deserved worship that it implies. When she isn't distracted by something shiny, or tasty or being ridden into battle.

She shows up late in the series, so I won't give any spoilers but safe to say she and Tahet will be having an encounter. Tahet might not care if he is called a drake or dragon, but nothing, no matter how shiny or tasty is going to distract him from HER...
